dfwIDEA

dfwIDEA is a holistic powerhouse internet information system built to democratize data, establish on-line communities, share news and information, and empower DFW residents through user-friendly interactive mapping, data analysis, personal narratives and making available historical documents. With dfwIDEA, you can interact with a variety of data, from personal testimonies that give a holistic picture of people’s experiences, to birth, death, school, criminal justice, economic, housing and public safety data.  From the convenience of home or office, individuals will be able to see data and map it, chart it, rank it and run basic analysis that will lead to a better understand of DFW communities. Central to the dfwIDEA initiative is a training component designed to outreach and train everyday citizens, non-profit organizations, advocacy groups and socially conscious corporations on how to maximize their use of dfwIDEA.
